Who we are
We make films that leave a bruise.
Rebel Pictures was founded in Copenhagen in 2018 by director Jesper Tønnes. We work by a simple principle: Low budget, high precision. It came from making ambitious films with limited resources and learning to make every creative decision count. Today, we develop fiction, art films and selected collaborations with brands and cultural partners. From Super 8 to 65mm, digital cinema to DV, we choose the format that gives each story its strongest form.
